PSYCHOMOTIVE DEVELOPMENT
We favor an environment that helps build sensory perception. In this respect, we offer children the opportunity to move indoors and outdoors, leading them to develop healthy lifestyle habits.
Psychomotor development refers to the physiological, physical, sensory and motor needs of the child. We develop fine and gross motor skills (agility, endurance, balance, lateralization, etc.) through a variety of activities. Gross motor skills include all body movements, sitting, crawling, walking, jumping on one foot, running, climbing, dancing, balancing, sliding, gymnastics, moving like animals (e.g. jumping frogs, rabbits, flying like birds), etc. We offer children dance, percussion and yoga classes to build gross motor skills and we provide them with the following materials for their development: Scarves for dancing, balls of various sizes, cones, mattresses, hoops, tunnels, parachutes, potato bags, ribbons, jump ropes, balance boards, etc.
We develop fine motor skills :
We develop fine motor skills through activities such as DIY art, cutting paper, brushes, colors, awakening to writing, puzzles, tearing, gluing, drawing, threading reels and beads, grabbing small objects, building toys, modeling, paint, manipulating marbles, moving pieces on board games, rolling dice.
